Who confirms the bookings?
The charter operator does. Our system checks the calendar and creates a provisional hold; the business owner confirms the reservation.
Who sends the customer’s booking texts?
The charter business, under its own registered messaging brand and terms. The customer’s agreement to receive booking texts is requested during the phone call. Automate’s own account notifications are a separate program for its business clients.
How are deposits handled?
Deposits are processed by Stripe and paid to the charter operator. Payment information is not stored on our systems.
Do I have to receive SMS notifications?
No. On our business sign-up form, consent to autoMATE account notification texts is optional and is not a condition of service. You can unsubscribe by replying STOP.
